Adebayor Interviewed About Togo Bus Attack
By: Thad | January 8th, 2010Rather than come up with something pithy to say about the shocking attack on the Togo national team’s bus Friday in Angola that left at least one man dead, I will just provide a link to an audio interview with Togo and City strike Emmanuel Adebayor, who came away from the attack shocked but physically unscathed. Listen here. Adebayor clearly would like to see Togo withdraw from the tournament, which seems the likely outcome of this barring a reversal of heart overnight. A terrible day for football that fortunately was not much, much worse.
