are we to believe ?

Am I the only one who sees the entire Ronaldinho saga being played out with City being used as bait to drag the price up? While naturally I would like to see him healthy, fit and at his artistic best and leaving that other team in Manchester in its wake, I know a good bargaining chip when I see one. And lets be real shall we, a player of his magnitude nearing the end of his extraordinary career and having the opportunity to play for a team loaded with his compatriots? How could he resist joining with the likes of Kaká, Alexandre Pato, Emerson, Digão and Dida on the squad and potentially making one of the biggest statements of Brazilian Football in history. Considering he has already been offered two-three times the contract Milan has discussed and hasn’t jumped it looks fairly obvious.
Whats your take on this?

You’re right on. If he wants money, he may go to Man City. Silverware and fitness, Milan.

It just seems all the efforts to say he is “serious” about the City offer is just posturing and done to drive the contract off. I’d like to be proven wrong of course so we’ll see. Hopefully he’ll also get moving on his physical conditioning because he certainly doesn’t appear fit in recent training pics.
