Attorney General to seize The Fugitive’s assets

By: j | August 26th, 2008

In a writ filed with the Supreme Court, Thailand Attorney General is attempting to seize more than £1bn in cash and assets of Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra, the fugitive.

This has also added to the rumours that the club is up for sale but City CEO Gary Cook has flatly denied this. No reports on whether the front office feels that the positive energy from the crystals he had embedded on the pitch has inspired good “juju” but thats a matter for “professionals” I presume.

I will continue to update this situation as information is made available.
