City confirmed in the hunt for Miguel Veloso
By: j | January 27th, 2009As per PA Sport, City have been confirmed in pursuit of Sporting’s midfielder Miguel Veloso. The twenty-two year old Portuguese international is hotly pursued by Bolton with a rumoured price-tag of £12 million.
His agent Paulo Barbosa said:
“It is important to notice that Bolton are not alone. Manchester City have already shown interest in him. Basically, what is happening now is that clubs are expecting to see what other clubs could offer in order to make their own bid.”
The talented young Footballer has stressed his loyalty to the Sporting in the past but with a move likely, the Citizens could secure him easily by upping the ante beyond Bolton’s ability. The players agent went on to say that he expects and conclusion either today or Wednesday.

They should go for as many as they can, they’re in a relegation fight, the more defensive players you have, the less goals you give up, the less goals you give up, the less chance that your best players leave next season because your playing in the Championship.
