Craig Bellamy out with knee injury

By: j | March 3rd, 2009

Without a doubt, since arriving from West Ham, Craig Bellamy has provided the Citizens some much needed scoring punch. However it looks like Mark Hughes will be without the Welsh striker for the next month due to a knee injury.

The manager said of the injury:

“It’s not an old injury. It needed to be allowed to settle down for 48 hours before we can look at the extent of it. It’s the patella, he’s torn fibres in his knee. Best case scenario is two to three weeks.”

Craig Hughes? My God. I knew City wanted to create the greatest team ever, but is it even safe to merge Bellamy and Hughes into one person?
