Djibril Cissé
By: j | July 23rd, 2008
More of the dirty-little rumour than fact at this stage but the Daily Mirror is reporting that Mark Hughes is preparing a bid on disgruntled Olympique Marseille Striker Djibril Cissé. The twenty-six year-old French International is apparently keen on returning to the Premier League, where he previously played at Liverpool.
Please let me know your thoughts on this one. While Djibril has proven to be consistent goal scorer with natural predatory skills, it seems to me that Craig Bellamy, presently at West Ham, would suit the squad better.
Updates to follow.

Cisse seems fully healed from his horrific leg injuries. For me Cisse is a better gamble than Bellamy because he is taller and younger.
