Martin: I’m not sure how much they’ve deemed appropriate in the investment but it fits together with the addition of Garry Cook who was head of Brand Jordan of Nike. As far as value with Milan being the fifth largest club in the world, the story-line likely makes it financially very worthwhile.

Firstly, the £285 acquisition of umbro? :p Secondly, I thought city were sponsored by le coq sportif? Or is this another one of nike’s acquisitions? If not, is keeping an out of form ronaldinho away from an adidas team really worth this much to them?
