EB/Streymur match

They lost 4-0 in aggregate but showed a lot of character. While today “we wanted results” and jobs were on the line, there was little that showed that level of commitment.
+ 1 GOAL Darius Vassell breaks free, avoids the ‘keeper and from a tough angle tucks the ball into the net.
90 minute: winding down thankfully with four minutes of added time. City is ahead of the world-famous EB/Streymur 1-0, 3-0 in aggregate.
75 minute: The pace is slowing down, no real scoring threats.
69 minute: Ched Evans in for Daniel Sturridge
60 minute: City is constantly putting pressure and they should but they just can’t score. Sorry my friends but if this is nothing “positive” you can say when a Premier League team defeats a amateurs 3-0 in a two match aggregate.
48 minute: who else, Martin Petrov opens the score sheet against a team City is having far too much difficulty with
Match started quickly with a respectable amount of pressure but a complete inability to get the ball in the back of the net. However no-score at the half and I’m not even slightly impressed with this.

Opening Lineups are set with a few surprises. Stephen Ireland starts on the bench, even though no injuries have been reported and eighteen year-old Daniel Sturridge starts. Equally surprised that Nedum Onuoha and Dietmar Hamann are on the bench. Sparky is definitely shaking a few things up.
