if espn does get the rights i just hope to god they dont turn the EPL into the entertainment talk show mess it has become over here in the States, in regards to biased coverage and the promotion and destruction of ’selected’ players, all in the name of ratings and ’star appeal’… for this fact, i hope they dont get the rights no matter how much money they throw on the table. They’ll turn it into sh!t..

I’d think that if they get it, they’ll bring over some real ex footballers that know stuff. HEck they had Andy Gray during Euros, and he’s better than eric

While I’m intrigued by ESPN’s move, I am not looking forward to hearing the nonsense that is Eric Wynalda & Co. calling games. With that being said, stay away global leader.

Yes, it certainly will expand coverage within the United States and am hopeful that it will improve support of the MLS.

Interesting read. I am excited to see ESPN capture Premier League rights, it will mean more EPL broadcasts in the states and increased coverage.
