Felipe Caicedo off to Hertha Berlin

With his playing time dropping, Felipe Caicedo has been loaned to Hertha Berlin of the German Bundesliga for the season. The nineteen year-old Ecuadorian capped striker will fit into Lucien Favre’s squad perfectly and I am confident will be a tremendous asset to the club.

  Actually, we’re not taking him, as we ended up taking Voronin on loan instead. As Dieter Hoeness said, it’s not so much that we didn’t like Caicedo, it’s more that Voronin, as an experienced striker with loads of good Bundesliga experience, was too good to pass up.
