Georgios Samaras deal to Celtic complete

The much-talked move of Greek international Georgios Samaras to Celtic is now complete. The twenty-three year-old Striker was brought to City under Stuart Pearce’s for a fee of £6m and after tumbling out of favour with Sven-Goran Eriksson, spent the last half of the campaign at Celtic. While the terms of his deal were not it is expected that City absorbed a significant loss on the deal.
I have no doubt that Georgios will prove to be a solid long-term player for Celtic. Unfortunately his stay at Man City fell victim to changing administrations and never could get his feet grounded here. Best of luck, Georgios!
