is Sparky listening ?

Two days ago I posted “time for Ched Evans and Daniel Sturridge” well lo’ and beyond in todays Manchester Evening News, Sparky challenged Ched and Daniel to work themselves into the lineup:
“I would like to involve Daniel as soon as possible because he didn’t have a lot of training with us in Germany because he was injured and then had to leave to play for England.
“I hope that he will be involved in the weekend game in Hamburg. It will be another opportunity for him to show what he can do.
“We will always try and encourage young players and bring them through I go back again to Ched Evans who has had an impressive pre-season so far. It is up to them to work hard, train hard, catch my eye and then take their opportunities when they come along.”
Well before it sounds like I’m taking credit on two very obvious choices that any fan could see, the time is now for these young guns and it’s also good to see them recognized for their talents. This weekends friendly against Hamburg is a perfect opportunity to feature young Daniel in the attack and equally the same of Ben Mee, who has returned from the England’s U19 effort.
With all that said and done another player for City fans to put on their radar map is Cardiff City’s nineteen year-old Midfielder / Striker Jonathan Brown. The Welsh U21 is extremely promising and whether he can be extracted from the Welsh squad yet, the time to make a move is now. That’s of course, if you’re listening Sparky.

Glad you got my joke but it is rather funny of the goings on at City. Virtually every “headline” signing they have attempted has had nothing to do with Sparky but corporate bed-partners. I sent you an email yesterday, let me know if you got it. I also have some info for you -
