Jô on-loan to Everton
By: j | February 2nd, 2009In an expected move Brazilian international Jô has been loaned to Everton for the balance of the campaign, without a option to purchase. There should be little surprise of this as the striker was never part of Mark Hughes plans and the £19m deal to bring him from CSKA Moscow in the summer was not orchestrated by the manager. Like many of the fine strikers that were cleaned out during last summer, I suspect City will look to move him if the opportunity is provided.
