not so fast Köln
By: j | January 2nd, 2009While FC Köln is anxious to bring their chosen son home, Bayern München’s out-of-favour star Lukas Podolski has confirmed receiving an offer from Manchester City. Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, the German international said:
“In recent months I have heard from several German teams, Köln, Werder Bremen and Borussia Dortmund. Outside Germany, I received proposals from Manchester City, Tottenham and Roma. I feel ready for an experience abroad and that includes Italy. I know that Roma have contacted me and want to take me. I would have no problems. Roma is a great club.”
