the bad with the good
By: j | September 1st, 2008If it hadn’t been for this piece of news I would have to say this day should be celebrated for Man City fans. Finally this club can begin to operate without the dark cloud of a the fugitive’s ownership of the club. There will naturally be a great deal of work on the infrastructure but quite seriously, this is the best news the club could get.
Unfortunately the other piece of news today isn’t joyous as Vedran Corluka has moved on to Tottenham for a reputed fee of £8.5m. In joining the Spurs he commented:
“I am delighted to be here because I am coming to a big club with great players, great ambition.”
The loss of the Croatian international will be a very tough hole to fill and a critical long term loss.
