the emergence of Ched Evans

It is becoming more and more clear that Mark Hughes confidence in the young Welsh Striker Ched Evans has grown and he could play a significant role at City this campaign.
The Striker position has definitely going through a bit of a house-cleaning process of late with the Greek International Georgios Samaras already moved to Celtic and Bernardo Corradi very likely on his way to Reggina of Serie A. Judging by recent workloads, I think we can safely assume Rolando Bianchi will see his future elsewhere and with Torino, Genoa or Reggina all vying for his considerable talents, once his very complex and expensive contract gets worked out, I expect him out of Manchester. Equally the same can be said for with young Bulgarian international Valeri Bojinov who is consistently the target of rumours of a return to Italy and far too talented not to be playing regularly.
Yet through it all, Ched Evans role at Manchester City role has grown and it is starting to look like this campaign will be one that he emerges in the Premier League. Mark Hughes comments solidified with in saying that “Ched has been excellent in pre-season and I am glad we have secured him on a long-term contract now,” and in response to transfer requests Sparky further added, “I think I am going to frustrate a lot of teams because he will not be going anywhere in this transfer window.”
