Considered expendable within Mark Hughes squad, twenty-eight year old Brazilian Midfielder Geovanni (Deiberson Maurício), was released on Thursday and since picked-up in a free transfer by the newly promoted Hull City. Geovanni who has at times displayed tremendous playmaking abilities will be a great asset to The Tigers and will always be remembered fondly by City faithful for netting the only goal in our 1-0 victory over Man Utd this past fall. We wish him the best of fortune in his new home.
