with the deal done, can we move on?

With reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport stating an agreement has been reached between the AC Milan and Barça, the much talked about attempt to lure Ronaldinho is done. In conjunction with Andrei Arshavin not interested in playing for City, it is time to consider other options and in-fact question whether both situations have merely been a ruse for sometime.
With Juande Ramos cleaning house and seemingly not liking anyone, the door to Tottenham’s well stocked shelves seem open, providing you have a solid enough bank account. The Gareth Barry situation is nearing a state of an opera for drama and with Liverpool’s transfer cash drying-up it is no guarantee where he could end up. However the real “finds”, if you will, are outside of the Premier League and most notably staying on the same vein of Mr. Arshavin, while he certainly is an extraordinary target, am I the only one who wonders why a number of his teammates haven’t been on everyones meet and greet list?
Certainly Midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov who plays for Lokomotiv Moscow and Striker Pavel Pogrebnyak of Zenit Saint Petersburg, who sadly missed the Euros due to a late injury, could have an immediate impact in the Premier League. Assuming you can wrestle him from Mr. Abramovich, Yuriy Zhirkov is a brilliant Footballer ready to burst out on the international scene and bringing him to City would realign him with our recent signing Jô who he played with at CSKA Moscow. The key with these three, less for Mr. Zhirkov, is that their market values haven’t went up yet but they will in time. Get in now Mark before its too late.
So who do you think Mark Hughes and co should go after?

What do you make of the rumors about Lucas Neill from West Ham joining Man City?

Honestly I’m not sure about whether there is even the slightest bit of truth to the rumour. It’s quite obvious Mark Hughes has been cleaning house and is he interested in a 30 year old who moved on from him previously and with a heavy £55k a week salary? I also think West Ham is better served with their youth movement of Freddie Sears, Mark Noble and Jack Collison so maybe this is coming from a different direction. Some of the rumours state Galatasaray is interested and with the signing of fellow ‘Roo Harry Kewell, that might be an selling feature. Do you see him going to The Lions?
